This reminds me of that one scenario, where there are two people who believe in god arguing. One says god told him that he should be king while the other said god told him there should be no king, how can you tell which one is telling the truth and actually received a message from god? Anyways, history is full of nutjobs who do horrendous things then claim it's because of religion.
